Light interior x exterior

I notice that Shapespark’s interior demonstration scenes have strong impact lighting that produces a very realistic and stunningly beautiful effect of lights and shadows. However, when I try to produce the same effect in my scenes the outside area of the building is so brightly lit that it is no longer possible to distinguish the details of the facade.

Do you experience the same situation?
Do you know any possible solutions?
Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you for the orientation of colleagues and support.

Hi!

If you are having issues with too bright exterior lighting you might try to decrease strength of the sky light in the “Bake” tab. If you have used a light of type “sun” in the “Lights” tab you can try decreasing its strength as well.

You could also try to modify the camera exposure in the “Camera” tab, and for mixed interior / exterior scenes use camera volumes: https://help.shapespark.com/hc/en-us/articles/4435193582225-How-to-adjust-exposure-in-mixed-exterior-and-interior-scenes-camera-volumes
