Scanned Avatars

I have placed avatars from scans in my scene but there eyes are rendering solid black.

Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

There is only one image per avatar and the eyes are in the image.

Thank you,

Michael

Perhaps there is a second surface behind the one on which the avatars are mapped and the black color is the result of z-fighting: https://help.shapespark.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009198277-Flickering-artifacts-on-some-surfaces ?
In the Shapespark editor Materials tab, select the material with the avatar texture, temporarily set Opacity of this material to 0 to hide it and check if there is any other visible surface left.

Another possibility is reversed faces of the eyes surfaces. In the Materials tab set Double sided property to check if the eyes become visible.

I think I fixed it thanks to your comments.
