Something is wrong how normalmaps are displayed

Something is wrong how normalmaps are displayed. I tried different maps, but there is not that satisfing look like in Unity for example
Why normalmaps only work with reflection materials? It should also work with a specular channel without reflection.

Shapespark uses height maps, not normal maps, for bump mapping.

In Shapespark bump mapping works only with dynamic lighting based on the light probes, so only for reflective materials.

Thx for your reply. Maybe you can add normalmap support. Would be great to add some details.
