Is a “clipping plane” or “section” feature possible to develop? if so…is it on the radar for future shapespark updates?

It is not currently on the radar. You can modify camera near plane to be far away, as explained here: Minimum distance from wall - #2 by jan But the tools that support proper sections use more sophisticated approaches that give nicer results than such near plane modification.
