Change more than one set of objects at same scene

Hello.

Is it possible to change one set of object in one place, like sofa1, sofa2, sofa3 and on same scene to change another set like chair1, chair2 and chair3 at other place?

If so, how?
I got at least one set working by changing the view and hiding the other objects.

Each set defines with objects are hidden, it is not possible to have a set that keeps the sofa from previous selection but allows to change a chair. When the chair is changed sofa would also change.
