I’m having this problem when trying to load my scenes, because normally a folder was created in documents called “Shapespark”, but I don’t know what happened and my scenes went to this directory “C:\Users\Pedro\AppData\Roaming\Shapespark \scenes”. I would be very grateful if you solve the problem. But if I put my scenes in this “scenes” folder it appears, but I feel more comfortable in the default that was already there and I think this is a problem because no computer on which I installed shapespark presented this path for the scenes.
Strange, what is a content of a file C:\Users\Pedro\AppData\Roaming\Shapespark\config.json on your computer? This file can be used to change the location of the scenes directory, but if you have never modified it, the Documents\Shapespark directory should be used. Also, do you have the Documents\Shapespark directory? Perhaps it failed to be created for some reason.
Could you send a problem report from the Shapespark desktop application Help & support tab? Hopefully the application logs that the report contains will help to determine why this folder is used.
It looks that your Windows Registry doesn’t contain information about the location of the Documents folder. Or it’s an anti-virus that blocks Shapespark from accessing the Windows Registry to find out where the Documents folder is. Could you try to either temporarily disable the anti-virus or whitelist Shapespark to see if it helps?
The config.json file is not obligatory. If it’s not found the Document\Shapespark directory should be used to keep the scenes. Since it seems a third-party tool is blocking Shapespark from accessing the registry to read the user’s documents directory, could you check if placing the C:\Users\Pedro\AppData\Roaming\Shapespark\config.json with the following content helps?
