Please someone do this tool for us.
We take this feature into consideration, but it is not something that we work on right now or have in nearest future plans. For us the largest problem is UX of such a measuring tool. From the user experience perspective taking measurements in 3D space is not an easy to accomplish task. Unlike scene authors who are 3D professionals, many people that open Shapespark scenes do not have experience with 3D programs like SketchUp or 3ds Max and even much simpler things like walking or looking around in 3D can turn out to be difficult for some of the users.
