New feature: Fog

Hello everyone,

We wanted to share with you a new addition to Shapespark: the Fog feature. This new tool gives you the ability to adjust the fog settings in your scenes, which can greatly enhance their overall look and feel.

Fog consists of two components:

The first is “Distance Fog”. This allows you to enable exponential distance fog, which affects objects based on their distance from the camera. The Density parameter controls the thickness of the fog, with a higher value resulting in thicker fog. The ‘Start’ parameter allows you to specify how far from the camera the fog effect should start.

The second is the “Height Fog” parameter. This enables exponential height fog, which affects objects based on their position on the Z-axis. The Density parameter controls the thickness of the fog, with a higher value resulting in thicker fog. The ‘Level’ parameter allows you to set the position on the Z-axis where the fog should start.

Finally, the ‘Colour’ parameter allows you to specify the colour of the fog, which applies to both distance and height fog. This is a great way to give your scene a specific mood or atmosphere by choosing the appropriate colour for the fog.

We hope you find this feature as useful and exciting as we have. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to use the comments section below.
