Optimize Geometry in Sketchup

I used the CleanUp3 plugin to optimize geometry in Sketchup before exporting to Shapespark (SketchUp Extension Warehouse)

Does anyone use or know another method to minimize polygons and lines within sketchup?

Greetings.

I don’t know SketchUp extensions of this kind, but optimizing the geometry in the 3D modelling tool has become of a lesser importance when Shapespark got the mesh simplification feature: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgKhDTlpuac Mesh simplification automatically reduces the number of triangles in the scene.

Thank you @wojtek, I’m going to try it, but I think it’s always good to maintain triangle austerity from the beginning, and when it’s indispensable, keep reducing in shapespark with this fabulous tool.

Hello, I’m going through here to recommend some plugins for sketchup users to decrease geometries:
Free!

  • CleanUp3
  • Universal Importer

Payment.

  • Skimp

The last one is the one that gives you the most control and the one that works the best.

I hope it will help you.
