Rendering Strange Lighting

Hi all,

Is there a way to rectify the attached at all?

Is it just the case of changing the Floor Dark Limit value?

It shows mostly on the moulding but also throughout the shelving unit. The roughness and metallic are set to default as I just want it appear as paint.

Any help would be great, thanks!


Flood Dark Limit is the main settings to help with such problems. In addition higher number of samples and higher lightmap resolution can help. Higher number of samples will always result in better quality and the lightmap size is not increased with it, only baking time increases.
Higher lightmap resolution increases the scene size and download time, so instead of increasing the resolution globally you can increase it only for the problematic objects (in the Objects tab).

Thats helped a lot. Especially the specific light map resolution on certain objects, never used that feature before. Thanks again
