Scene import failed: internal error: Python int too large to convert to C long

I’m having trouble uploading a 3D model to Shapespark.
I get the error Scene import failed: internal error: Python int too large to convert to C long

Shapespark version: 2025-01-09 - Shapespark 3.3.3
Blender version: 4.3.2

I’ve tried fbx, obj and glb.

It sounds like some numeric identifier in the model has an unexpectedly high value or that the model is very large.

How large is your model? Would you be able to share the FBX or GLB file with us (support@shapespark.com) so we could take a closer look at the issue?

I took a look at your model. Geometry in your model is quite heavy, which is causing difficulties with importing it into Shapespark. One of the main reasons for this is that the plants in the model are very detailed and heavy. Since they’re repetitive, you could replace them with instances of lighter, more optimized models.

I changed the vegetation and it was not helping, so if anyone else has this issue try the solution below first:

Just copied the mesh to a different blend file, exported again and it worked. Something might have been corrupt on the older Blender project.
