VR mode on desktop needs controllers Edit: Works now

Edit: seems to be working now. Must have been caused by firmware upgrade of occulus. PC restart resolved.

I’m just testing out the VR mode on oculus medium. It appears that the touch controllers aren’t being used, which in turn means that you cant turn around, because you need to keep hold of the mouse and keyboard for navigation.

Can you implement the touch controllers so that at a minimum the trigger is used teleport to where the focal dot is? This would also get rid of the motion sickness effect caused by having to turn around with the keys.

The controllers should trigger the teleport in VR. Which browser has this problem? Could you try if reconnecting controllers helps?

Hi Jan, tested on chrome and firefox nightly.

Is this a scene on our hosting or a bundled scene that could be using older version of Shapespark? The last release improved VR controller support.

Hi Jan. I’m not sure why, but I’ve just retried and now appears to be working!

sorry about that, my PC must have been feeling mischevious.
