Hello guys from Shapespark
I have the following situation:
I keep a scene at 3m high, on a surface that has applied “walk-on” and apparently this last command is stronger than the height of the camera or erases that data and lowers my camera to the level indicated in walk-on.
I need the view at the height of 3 m but at the same time I would like people to walk on those steps at the corresponding height! what can I do?
Yes, the VR mode continuously adjusts the camera height over “walk on” surface to the height of the headset in your physical world.
Would it work for you to create an invisible “walk on” surface at 1.4m height above the floor? Given that an average eye height is ~1.6m, the camera height in the VR mode would be at ~3m above the floor.
hello @wojtek, excuse my writing error, this is not related to VR
“Walk-on” setting and a scene saved to another height.
My problem occurs when I want to save a scene at 3 meters high for visual effects and at the same time I have the option of Walk-on at that same point.
the Walk-on option is more powerful than the height command of the scene and the scene comes out at the same height recorded in walk-on
Could you share a link to the scene, so we could take a closer look? I am not sure I understand what you’re trying to achieve. What do you mean by “save a scene at 3 meters high for visual effects”? Do you refer to the Height to ground setting?
Or do you mean that in your initial view the camera is positioned 3 meters above the floor?

[/quote] This is what I mean.
The “Aerea 1 view” scene is 3m high but if I choose “Walk-on” for the geometry below, to get the step up the arcade, the view doesn’t stay 3m high, instead it goes down to 1.6m (as it’s set in the “Walk-on” parameters!)
I send you privately for reasons of confidentiality.
Have you tried using From view (default) option for the Camera height? It will maintain the camera height 3m above the walk-on surfaces until you switch to other view.
