Going up and down stairs in VR mode

I set up Shapespark to climb stairs, but in VR mode I cannot freely walk up and down the stairs.

Is it not possible to ascend or descend stairs in VR mode?

If it is not possible to go up and down stairs in VR mode, can I use teleportation to walk up and down the stairs freely?

If so, how do I set up teleportation?

Have you configured stairs in your scene as described in: Configure walking up and down the stairs: a short guide ?

Yes, I have already set up “Configure walking up and down the stairs: a short guide”.
However, in VR mode, I cannot go up and down the stairs freely.

Do I need to set something else?

In the VR mode the collisions are disabled, so that head movement is always matched with corresponding camera movement, and it’s not possible to walk up/down the stairs simply by using the controller thumbstick/thumbpad. To walk up/down the stairs use the teleport: gaze at the destination and press the trigger (index finger) button on the VR controller.
